Development Update

Not a great deal of visible progress this week.  I'm building out the turn updater phase by phase (I think I have all of four phases done at this point) and Casey's been prototyping out some under-the-hood mechanics of the user interface.  
 
The user interface is the trickiest component since it has to present the game map in a comprehensive way that's not also overwhelming.  I think the key here is to have the visible information increase in detail as you zoom in, rather than try to cram everything into one mouseover hover window.  That way you can take in as much (or as little, if you zoom out) information as you want just by glancing at the map.  Anyway, keep checking out the prototype he's put together and add your thoughts here.
